January 2010 MANDATORY ORIENTATION PROGRAM

ATTENTION STUDENTS: WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT ORIENTATION, YOU MUST PRESENT THE COPIES OF THE DOCUMENTS REQUESTED. ALSO, BRING ORIGINAL NJIT I-20 OR THE ORIGINAL NJIT DS-2019 AND PASSPORT.

Welcome international student and congratulations on your acceptance to New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT)!  We will soon see you in Newark, New Jersey, a city of history, culture, and great food!

Our orientation is MANDATORY for ALL students.  You will be given information about NJIT, your immigration status, academic advisement, registration, personal health and safety, banking, paying your NJIT tuition, and local accommodations. We have found that students who really take part in our orientation settle more quickly into their new surroundings.

**You must attend orientation before you will be allowed to register for classes.**
