AUGUST 2012 MANDATORY ORIENTATION PROGRAM
Note: you may be arriving in the U.S. for the first time to begin studies. If so, you will have only the NJIT I-20. That is alright.
Welcome international student and congratulations on your acceptance to New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT)! We will soon be meeting you in Newark, New Jersey, a city of long history, culture, a world-renowned museum, fabulous performing arts center and new spacious indoor arena and great food!
Our orientations are MANDATORY for ALL students. At orientation you will be given information about NJIT, your immigration status, receive detailed academic advisement, register for classes, meet our medical, public safety teams, open bank accounts, learn how to paying your tuition and have a good time! We have found that students, who really engage in our orientation settle more quickly into their new surroundings, are happier and more successful.
***You must attend orientation before you will be allowed to register for classes.***
